We had the Hong Kong Style Wonton Soup and the Golden Lava Sandwich and the experience was truly great! Loved every bit of the food. Would recommend to anybody going to chinatown. Portion sizes are great and service was quick. 10/10

Definitely one of the best Hong Kong cafes/ places to eat in Chinatown! It can get pretty crowded so I would recommend coming on a weekday and to avoid peak hours since it can get super busy. Wait times can be up to 10 minutes or a little more depending on how crowded it is. Some of my favorite dishes are the Portuguese chicken baked rice, the peanut butter condensed milk French toast, and the sweet and sour chicken (I’ll include the photo when I’m able to find it). Service is pretty fast. I’m just not a huge fan of the water that served here because it tastes like tap water and has a weird taste to it, so I would recommend bringing your own water beforehand. Other than that, the food here is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommend!! There’s also two bathrooms available.

Very fair prices and like that even if you don’t have cash being allowed to pay with Venmo. Service was speedy and no frill. The salt and pepper wings were pretty good and the standout for me. Brisket noodle soup was just average which was fine, went in knowing that but was craving soup. Would come again and order bunch of appetizer type items . As a heads up, thought that before 11:30 you could order breakfast items and the rest of the menu and that after it breakfast stops, but it is only breakfast .

We arrived early at the café, but it was still pretty busy. Everything we tried tasted delicious. An unexpected twist: someone accidentally took my bag in the restaurant. We thought it was lost, but we left our contact number with the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Later she called to say someone had returned the bag with all my things—I was over the moon! The item inside the bag was worth $300, and when I tried to tip the waiter, he politely refused and simply invited us to return for dinner next time. I was truly overwhelmed by their kindness. Even though the restaurant was so busy, they still took the time to call and make sure I got my bag back. I’m very grateful—thank you!

Kong Sihk Tong is a gem of a place. There’s so much to try, but I always end up ordering the lava toasts! the sesame toast is the best thing ever. The noodles and rice dishes are great too. I keep wanting to go back and try everything on the menu. Only downside is that it’s cash only, so come prepared!!
